Gorgeous embroidered Middle East fabric

Beautiful burgundy wine with gold stitching along one scalloped edge (78” end) and leaves throughout (except for section with no leaves opposite scalloped edge, last photo). Not a ‘soft’ material, has a bit of a craft ribbon texture, robust! I was told this was rough spun silk but it feels rougher than silk so I can’t guarantee… No flaws. Colour is deep burgundy to maroon with complex shimmer/depth, gold to yellow stitching that is more neutral on one side.
