It will arrive in a package, so you'd have to expose it to light before testing the glow. If you want it to have a strong glow in the dark, either wear/expose it to light for a bit (~15min), or run your cellphone flashlight directly on it for a couple of minutes before trying it in the dark. The more light exposure it gets before putting it in the dark, the stronger the glow will be.
