Green Mayan Malachite Statue of King

A green malachite bust of a Maya or Aztec figure, either a king or deity. The statue is larger than most that I have seen of this type at 9 1/2" in height and 9" in width (3 1/4" deep). The figure sits on a throne while he wears a huge headdress which includes a pair of hands and some type of creature. He wears gold earrings and has a serene expression with his eyes closed. There is felt backing on the underside and rear and on its lower right there looks to be a small chip (please see the pictures).
