sneezella @cottagegifts Do you know anything about filing a claim with USPS or how or else I could get my money back maybe from poshmark? if not it's totally OK. I just figured you might know more about the insurance

darlascottage @sneezella oh no, is Poshmark putting that on you? When you get the stuff back from me, you can just take it to the post office. Priority mail includes $50 insurance. But typically Poshmark would take care of that. Are you sure that Poshmark isn’t going to reimburse you? That’s part of “Posh Protect.” You want to make sure they aren’t claiming the insurance too.

darlascottage @sneezella If Poshmark isn’t doing the claim (be sure), then take it all to post office to request reimbursement. But if Poshmark is filing a claim, you don’t want to duplicate that or look like you’re trying to. So be sure Poshmark tells you that Poshmark will NOT be filing a claim to USPS.

sneezella @cottagegifts Thank you so much I don't think that they're covering my cost because they sent an email telling me that I didn't take the proper precautions to wrap the package and so I think it would be crazy for them to file a claim if they're not giving me my money back

darlascottage @sneezella You packed it a lot, it just needed a box. I used to mail artwork in round tubes & the UPS guy told me to stop using anything round because if it rolls it will roll off the trucks. We just don’t think like that because we aren’t shipping company workers lol! I always double box now & price breakables higher because they’re a pain to pack.
