Grimwades Center Handle Snack Candy Dish Royal Winton Hazel Chintz 8" England

This vintage Royal Winton Grimwades center handle snack tray, candy dish is a stunning addition to any collection. Made in England in the 1930-1965 time period, the dish features a Hazel chintz pattern with pink, purple, and blue flowers, set against a black mosaic background. The dish is square in shape and measures 8 inches in diameter, with a height of 5 inches to the top of the handle. Crafted from lead-free glaze porcelain, this original production style dish features gilt trim and a printed backstamp. While the dish is vintage, it is in good condition. Hand washing is recommended for this piece. Add a touch of elegance to your decor with this beautiful Hazel chintz dish. Very good used condition. Natural crazing on reverse side ony. There is a stable narrow crack emanating from the edge to the center. Very hard to see on the top side until point blank range inspection(see photos #4-#7) . It appears the previous owner has treated the crack on the reverse side with a coating of a clear substance, perhaps epoxy or nail polish, in order to stabilize the crack further.
