The “Select Series” is Guillotine’s couture collection - the ultimate in luxury and creativity. Years of expertise go into each lightweight polymer and luxury silk one-of-a-kind bow tie. The world's only truly sculpted bow tie. The silk is from repurposed vintage designer silk ties and scarves from the 1950s-2000s, thereby saving this incredible fabric from ending up in landfills. Each tie is sculpted one at a time, without the use of a mould. All the colours are created individually in polymers prior to being sculpted and fired, and are combined one at a time through classic sculpting techniques to achieve the final piece. There is no painting involved in a Guillotine tie. Finished in repurposed mountain goat fur Each piece is signed and named and then attached to the hand-sewn silk neck strap.
