🌸 Excellent “like new” condition(very well taken care of) 🌸 Guy Vidal was a true Canadian master at sculptural pieces of wearable art, his work contains depth, texture and stunning stylized design. Often regarded as the best of the Canadian Modernist Jewellery Designers of the 1960-70`s 🌸 A true work of wearable Modernist Art. Examples of Vidal’s work in the Brutalist style are very fashionable today and highly sought after 🌸 Vidal was a master of playing with textures and design, most famously in his Modernist abstract designs in the Brutalist style of the period 🌸 This scupltural, vintage necklace features a rectangular shape full of depth and texture, surfaces and beautifully quality cast with modernist detail 🌸 Vidal attended l'École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal and completed his Master's in Fine Arts at the University of Bloomington, Indiana in 1962.
