This is "H. G. Wells Works: The War of the Worlds, A Dream of Armageddon, The Land Ironclads " published by Heron Books London in 1968 with illustrations by Graham Byfield. It has black faux leather covered boards with elaborate gold embossed titles and decorations on the cover and spine, a yellow ribbon bookmark, iridescent green and gold endpapers, 319 pages. It is in quite good condition. There is a little wear and white speckles on the cover and spine with bumped corners. The pages are very clean with only a little yellowing.
