It’s definitely an intentionally oversized, slouchy cut - about 30” pit to pit laid flat and 43.5” long, so on an XL it fits roomy and on smaller sizes it will feel very oversized. Best for taller individuals or if you like a cocoon-style coat with lots of room for layers.
