HORNSEA POTTERY 'Duet Carmine' Vintage Creamer Jug & Salt and Pepper Shakers Set

Vintage Hornsea Pottery 'Duet Carmine' pattern creamer milk jug and salt and pepper shakers. The salt and pepper shakers include the original rubber stoppers. Made from quality thick earthenware, these pieces are decorated in a burgundy maroon and dark blue ombre effect with a white center. This pattern is discontinued. The Hornsea 'Duet Carmine' is a bold design, presented with a rounded shape, featuring deep colors. Hornsea Pottery went out of business in 2000. Duet Carmine was made in the later years of Hornsea's existence. It was not produced in such large quantities as some of the other ranges and has now become very difficult to find in good condition. Please see the photos for approximate measurements. Excellent vintage condition. The only thing to note is that one of the stoppers has a small piece missing from the edge of the stopper. The rubber stoppers are also discolored from age. Please remember when purchasing vintage items that they have a history attached to them and often show wear, which I do my very best to disclose.
