HP 17by0xxx Laptop - 17" touchscreen, 12gb RAM, 1TB HDD, ** Ubuntu Linux OS **, (FLAWED hinge) Older model computer. Everything works great. Full size keyboard with tenkey section. Optical drive (CD / DVD). Comes with its charger. Rare to get a touchscreen on a big 17" screen, so that's a nice function. Right now it's smoothly running Ubuntu Linux -- tho you could put Windows back on it, or dual-boot. I find Ubuntu so much faster! (see video too) FLAWS: 1) The right hinge works more or less fine for opening and closing the computer, but at times it pushes the case apart due to an old internal frame crack. (see the pics). One can pinch it back together, but that's not a fix. It makes the laptop a much better "desktop model" than a portable laptop. 2) If you leave it closed & unplugged for a week, the CMOS complains upon reboot, and you have to press the enter key once to make it feel better about completing the boot. :-)
