HULL POTTERY USA Vintage Tokay Tuscany Grape Basket Vase

Hull Pottery USA vintage 1950's Tokay Tuscany grape basket vase. This Tokay Tuscany has raised green grapes and leaves with a solid white background. Tokay USA is stamped on the bottom. The piece measures approximately 7" long x 4" wide x 7.75" tall. There is a stable crack on the top of the handle that appears to have been repaired. It is not that noticeable unless very closely inspected. The price reflects this. Please see the video and photos. This is still a beautiful piece despite the flaw. Hull Pottery of Crooksville, Ohio, introduced a new line of art ware in the 1950s, which they designated Tokay. Their previous products featured soft pastels and matte finishes, while Tokay (along with Tuscany, which employed the same forms) had a hard, shiny glaze and a palette of fewer colors.
