Hand Carved Old Man & Woman French Canadian Folk Art 2 Wood Figurines Belleau AD

Hand carved folk art carvings of an old man and old woman. From Quebec, Canada. Male figure is signed "Belleau" on the front of base and is approx. 5 1/2" tall x 2" wide x 1 1/2" deep. Female figure is signed "AD" on the bottom of base and is approx. 4 3/8" tall x 1 1/4" x 1 1/4". Pre-owned condition: Wood surface has marks from display & storage. The male figure has a scrape to the back of hat, so wood surface is a lighter color (see close-up photo).
