Dimensions 🔆 Each figure is approximately 24.5 in (62.5 cm) tall. The base measures approximately 5 in x 5 in (12.5 cm x 12.5 cm). Condition 🔆 Overall, the figures are in very good condition. There are no cracks, but there are small areas with chipped paint, more so on the woman. Please study the photos carefully to assess this. However, these imperfections only add an extra sentimental vintage touch to the figures. Description 🔆 A pair of tall colonial African figures of a man and a woman. The figures are hand-carved from wood and covered with paint. The man is wearing light trousers, a tuxedo with a vest and a bow tie. On his head is a colonial pith helmet. The woman holds a vase on her head in an elegantly curved pose. She is wearing a red lace with blue flowers, a necklace of natural beads on her neck, and a bracelet of the same color on her wrist. The lips are bright red, the same color as the dress. The man's figure has the initials "SY", most likely the initials of the author of the figures.
