Hand Embroidered Mexican Huipil Folk Dress White Size L Bird Motif

This is a beautiful huipil is wonderfully decorated with intricate embroidery. It was a gift from a friend who got it when she lived in Mexico. It has a few condition issues, mainly some yellowing around the collar and pits (see photos) and a few pulls in the embroidery. I meant to dye it or do a treatment to get the yellow out but never did. Maybe you can. It doesn’t have any labels so I don’t know the fabric content. I’d say it’s a large.
