Hand Painted Pendelfin Bunnies Stonecraft “Dandy” Barber Collectible VTG England

A vintage Pendelfin figurine, "Dandy", a rabbit barber styling the fur of a young child bunny. Made of ceramic stonecraft, the larger bunny wearing blue pants with a pocketful of combs and barber scissors, while brushing the ears of the little bunny who is draped in a yellow smock with blue daisies. The little bunny has an adorable pouty face. On the back of the smock around the little bunny's neck is marked "DNR" (Doreen Noel Roberts) and "MADE IN ENGLAND". It has the original felt bottom and Pendelfin foil sticker on the base stating: "MADE IN BURNLEY ENGLAND", however it appears to actually belong to another Pendelfin “Rocky”. Height: 4.5" x Length: 3.25 x Width: 2.5” This is a vintage item so there are some signs of wear as can be seen from the photographs. There is some paint chipping on the back of the figurine (please see pictures) Pendelfin was a company specializing in handcrafted and hand painted stoneware and was based in Burnley, Lancashire, England. It was well known for its gorgeous bunnies, which are now highly collectible. They are no longer in production. Vintage, pre-owned and collectible items are sold "AS IS".
