Handbag/Overnight Bag Boho /Hippy/Funky/Cool

This bag puts me in mind of a carpetbag of the really old days. I purchased it at a hospital sale of new items (hand-made they said) about 20 years ago and then it just went into my closet so it has never been used. The leather sewing is a little rougher than something from a factory and there are a few loose threads inside. Minor scuffs on the leather (minimal) Velvet embossed material (spoke to my hippy self) but the zippered opening was just too big for me for regular use. I always planned to use it as an overnight bag but I have a few of those already. It must have come with a shoulder strap (see side clips) but that has been lost to time.
