Trained by his father in the timeless tradition of the Mexican glass artists, he has added facets of the great European styles to his remarkable designs. He was invited to Canada in 1976 because of his expertise and artistic ability and at the time was the first glass blower in British Columbia. Daniel owns and operates several full production glass studios in British Columbia, called Arte Vargas Glassblowing Studio.
