When this lovely lid is lifted it reveals a grey lined jewellery compartment with a clear cover that offers a view the precision musical movement made in SWITZERLAND that plays the melody 'SWAN LAKE". The violin and sheet music mosaic pattern is made from pieces of rare & exotic woods with different textures and colours. Individual parts of the mosaic that require an additional shiny effect are immersed in hot oil for 10 seconds, which gives an unusual color and extra shine to the wood. This box has been created by hand, piece by piece. A true work of art not only because of the precious woods used in making them but also for the exquisite creativity of design and originality of their composition, layering various sheets of wood of different colors, fastened one on top of the other. Elm, white poplar, briar, rosewood are some of the exotic woods used. lined in plush grey velvet with open compartment, ring holder & compartment for musical movement with a removable cover.
