Handcrafted Signed Terracotta Pottery Pineapple Welcome Door Wall Plaque

Handcrafted Terracotta Pottery wall (or door) plaque featuring an embossed (raised) pineapple design - the pineapple has long been recognized as a symbol of hospitality and welcome in many parts of the world. This plaque is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, marks, or other signs of damage. It is made from terra cotta pottery and measures about 4 inches in diameter and 1/3 inch thick. It was made in Nova Scotia, Canada and is signed by the artist (I cannot identify the signature however). In addition to the signature, there is a fish-shaped stamp and one with the initials FS imprinted on the back - see photos for details. This would also make a great and unique housewarming gift!
