Handcrafted Turned Clay Horse Mug

Jump back a few centuries or millennium with this style of earthen wear. Most of humanity use materials, such as clay or wood or bone for eating. Earthen wear pottery still used to this day. A horse was etched into the design of the mug. The glaze is of greens and tans. It looks like a type of terracotta with granule pieces of rock or other materials from the earth embedded in the mix. The signature of the artist is on the bottom. There’s a sort of bottleneck above the belly shape to this mug. Round grooves from turning are on the inside and outside of this pottery; if you like textures this mug is for you.
