Handmade 1950's Rainbow Gold Filled Alaska Black Diamond Necklace & Earrings

To be called gold-filled by U.S. law, the plating needs to be very very thick (at least 5% of jewelry total weight). The gold will never wear off! Beautiful mid-century gold filled set by Rainbow in its original box. Features gorgeous filigree and openwork design, 16" chain. Each piece is set with a stunning Alaska Black Diamond. Spring ring closure on necklace. Earrings were screw backs and have been converted to pierced. Pendant is stamped "Rainbow Gold Filled". Both earrings are stamped "Rainbow" on the backs of both screws. Necklace and earrings are in beautiful vintage condition. The box is made of hard shell plastic. Box exterior is in good vintage condition. Box interior shows some wear and marks on the lining.
