Hi - According to the store website you posted, this sweater is Cowichan "inspired", not an authentic Cowichan. There should be a tag with the knitter's name and where it was made. If it has that, I apologize for questioning. Thanks.

@birchandbasin Hi there. To clarify, if you look under any of the cowichan sweater product descriptions it says all their sweaters are hand knit, by local indigenous folks in British Columbia. They're still authentically made even if some of them aren't from the specific Cowichan region. They are in dire need of knitters and these types of garments won't be around long sadly. Beautiful sweater and great deal for what I'm offering. Hope this helps, take care.
