Handmade Intarsia wood art piece

Unsigned Intaraia art piece made of beautifully carved wood pieces that fit together to make this bird/heron artwork. In excellent condition. Background is wood and there is some slight staining on the cream coloured background wood. Maybe could be washed or repainted or scrubbed…? Total measurements are 15” x 18”.
