Handmade Navajo Malachite Stone Ring

Reposhing this item I purchased from @canyonstars. It's too big for my fingers, unfortunately. Handmade sterling silver hallmarked Navajo ring, made during wartime, when the stone mines were closed, so has a celluloid malachite stone instead! Totally amazing bit of history here. Navajo artisans who made a living by selling their jewelry used faux stones when the mines were closed. Gorgeous piece that I wish was my size.
