Handmade Patchwork Toddler Skirt

This toddler patchwork skirt is made from leftover materials and fabric scraps from other projects. Rather than throwing this material out and contributing to the millions of pounds of waste created by the fashion industry, my journey into hand making my own clothes had led me down a new path - creating clothes and toys that generate NO material waste. This was my first "passion" project and it took me about 3 days of choosing the fabrics, cutting squares and patching them all together. I am in love with the outcome (hopefully you will be too!). This skirt is 12" long, 20" unstretched, stretches to 28".
