Handmade Raku pottery decorative fish platter Beautifully made Raku dish or platter showing a detailed flounder fish with gorgeous play of colour and iridescence of blues, reds, yellows, orange and every colour in between. Must be seen in hand to be appreciated. ❤️It’s lovely!❤️ The fish is slightly raised, or low relief, or bas-relief. I tried to show this at the fish eye. The plate does rise up at the edges creating a low bowl effect. It has some weight to it. It’s difficult to show how amazing this piece is, I just can’t seem to get the right angles. Measures approximately 13 1/4” x 9 1/4” x 2” deep There is a very small nip on the pectoral fin, as shown in heart. It’s seen as a bit of white. Typical crazing in Raku is completely normal. Sits nicely on a flat surface but could be mounted to hang if desired. (No mounting included) Smoke free, cat friendly home.
