Handmade UNISEX denim runway long coat 2018

One of a kind handmade denim vest for a runway in 2018. Emptying old inventory from my racks to make space in my studio. Honestly, this vest took FOREVER to hand fray all the edges. This vest was made for a show in 2018. I am sad to see it go but I will need space for 2022 for my first MTO collection. This long coat is a labour of love and craftsmanship. Handmade by me, it took 16 hours from drafting the patterns to making the final sample. Made in a straight cut for a UNISEX fit. The sleeve is a tailored sleeve in a slight angled hem. Two front pockets with frayed edges and the hem is hand frayed as well. No lining only used facings. In the business of made-to-measure, the garment goes through a very personal journey, so there is a toile made, a fitting and corrections before the final garment is made. It truly is one of a kind. Made-to-measure always comes with a hefty price tag, hence the 650$, that’s for fabrics, threads, patterns, hand fraying all the edges, corrections, toile and final sample.
