Handmade Vintage Slip Skirt 1960's Tulip/Godet with pleated Lace

My Grandmother was a professional Teacher of design In Buenos Aires, Argentina This was a slip that she made, which had to be in the late 60's/ early 70's when she was most active. It is a beautiful and classic pattern with a combination of textures and fabrics. In the right hands, this could easily be touched up to wear. The Elastic is so old that it definitely needs to be replaced. I'm having a hard time letting go of this due to it;'s sentimental value, but it does no good to keep it in the closet.
