Handmade fountain of youth pottery bowl, Yggdrasil full moon altar offering

...bowl, wheel thrown hand built ceramic art key dish, hallway tray Amateur pottery, made by yours truly! This wheel thrown bowl was finished with several surface decorating techniques, creating a semi-3D look of trees with a full canopy of leaves. The piece has been hand painted with underglazes in various shades of white, blues and black and with a splash of blue to the inside of the bowl, suggesting a small body of water. It stands on 3 little feet. It did have a small firing mishap to 2 of the 3 little feet. Signed YB on the bottom (that´s me!) Perfect as a small home altar offering dish, hallways dish or to keep a few small items together. It is food safe and dishwasher safe, although I would recommend hand washing for this particular piece as the 3D elements may be prone to chipping when clunking around in a dishwasher. This was one of my learning pieces that I will be moving along to be able to create and learn more going forward. I took Late Victorian pieces as my inspiration and the colourway was inspired by wintery full moon nights. Size: 4-5/8 inches diameter (11.7 cm), 2-3/4 inches tall (7 cm)
