Handmade frayed runway jeans may 2018

One of a kind handmade jeans for a runway in 2018. Emptying old inventory from my racks to make space in my studio. Honestly, this jeans took FOREVER to hand fray all the edges. These jeans were made for a show in 2018. I am sad to see it go but I will need space for 2022 for my first MTO collection. This pant is a labour of love and craftsmanship. Handmade by me, it took 25 hours from drafting the patterns to making the final sample. Sits at the natural waist, slight flare in the legs, hand fraying done for the hems, front pockets and back pockets. Only the best zipper for anything handmade by me RIRI. No waistband, inside facing for waist finishing. In the business of made-to-measure, the garment goes through a very personal journey, so there is a toile made, a fitting and corrections before the final garment is made. It truly is one of a kind. Made-to-measure always comes with a hefty price tag, hence the 1000$, that’s for fabrics, fusings, threads, patterns, hand fraying all the edges, corrections, toile and final sample. I will let it go for a sample price though. But no rush! I will be selling a few more pieces off this collection soon.
