Handstitched Feedsack Star Quilt

Adorable pastel base feed-sack star quilt. This one’s construction and materials are interesting. There is fabric as old as 1930 on here, but it was likely constructed in the 60s. It’s all 100% hand stitched. This travelled all the way from Nashville Tennessee. I don’t often get to know exactly where they are from unless they are labelled, or I get them straight from the family, so I always think it’s cool to know. This is an ideal cutters quilt, or for someone who wants to slow stitch it or have notable patching etc. — there is one corner that was water damaged and I haven’t tried too hard to get any staining out. So this is as is. The colours are remarkable. Would make beautiful clothing, super soft fabrics to the skin. It’s still strong enough to hold up to washing and abuse. Excellent piece for the feed sack lover.
