star_gazer99 @rlambert999 The Lawyer is positive my husband will get on disability, it may take time. No telling. Some people with his Autoimmune Disease get it on the 2nd or 3rd try. Plus last week he was diagnosed with a second autoimmune disorder.

rlambert999 @star_gazer99 so he stopped working this year? oh and the virus, china in lockdown again started 2 days ago. 51 million in lockdown. calling it the "stealth onicron". we live in very scary times. 😨 so no its not better.

star_gazer99 @rlambert999 😨 Oh my gosh PFF that s scary to hear. We do live in scary times. Yes my husband worked full time in pain till November 2021. Then his doctor put him only working 3-4 hours a day. Then his work after 3 month put him off on his short term disability.

rlambert999 @star_gazer99 thank you! 😊 it's still dark here, only 430am. supposed to be 52 today, not bad. in the 60s next week and sunny, that's perfect. it's cold 37 out right now. I sold a few things a few days ago, but since we moved recently, they are hiding. ugh!! I've got 50 boxes to still unpack. moving is awful stressful. 😖

rlambert999 @star_gazer99 yes that's true. and for your brother it would be SSI program. since your husband has worked over 10 years, his should be SSDI based on work credits. hopefully they explained it all to you. there's so much information. plus the ssdi program once approved keeps 5 months pay on everyone. it's a waiting period and never get returned. ugh!

star_gazer99 @rlambert999 Oh no 🙈 he didn’t tell us about it taking 5 months to get reimbursement. I remember him saying if you get turned down you have to wait 3 months to reapply.

rlambert999 @star_gazer99 you misunderstood what I said. once a person is approved for ssdi (work credits program) SSA keeps 5 months of pay. Example if it takes 1.5 years for your spouse to get approved, he loses 5 months of pay and it's never reimbursed. they do that to every person on ssdi program. but as I mentioned it took 7 years from start to finish with my attorney. mine sat in federal court for 2 years. I'm finally getting my monthly. still waiting on 7 year backpay

rlambert999 @star_gazer99 so is someone's monthly entitlement is $1500 a month SSA keeps 5 months ...total $7500. My attorneys never told me that upfront. I found out from the internet and friend on SSDI. see the message above I wrote explaining.

rlambert999 @star_gazer99 yes it took 7 months to start my monthly payment. it will be another 3 to 6 months for my 7 years backpay. so yes, it takes a very long time. the system is broken. I just wanted you to be aware it's a long process if not accepted immediately. ask your attorney about it. the longer they owe backpay, the longer it takes.

rlambert999 @star_gazer99 I got hacked on M.e.r., someone used $500 of my credit card and got away with it. my bank chase tried finding them for 4 months no luck. m.e.r.c deleted my account. I used to sell so much on m.e.r.c. be careful on there. so many online thieves.

rlambert999 @star_gazer99 absolutely! PFF it's a different world we live in now from the 70s and 80s for sure. I'm so sad 😞 how it's all turning out. Each year gets so much worse. The news is so depressing. I try to stay on top of things but have to take breaks tho. Have a great day! I do miss m.e.r.c. I sold so much on there. I used it for a few years. I got great deals too.

I have a crazy 11 month old 🐶 pup. he's high maintenance, and like having 10 boys, the breeder said he was calm. no way not at all. we've had him 9 months, he's a lunatic. rlambert999 @lalight this tulip place is a 30 minute drive from us. I believe it's over 40 acres of tulips 🌷 I usually go every year but not since pandemic started. it's absolutely beautiful stunning out there.
