Hardy Huron Crafts Hand Crafted Wooden Mugs Barrie Ontario Butternut Walnut Wood Recent estate sale, the family told me she never used them, the information paper was still in them. Each one is 6 1/8" tall x 2 7/8" wide, they are stamped on the bottom. The mug is made in sections of butternut and walnut. The finish is a vrathane varnish which is waterproof, resists mild acids and alkali and will withstand a great deal of heat. This mug brings to mind the wooden drinking vessels of the early pioneers.
