Harley Davidson raised logo with dark flames , black and orange

I think the mug may have missed a step during production. It looks like the flames are supposed to be orange but have a black glaze over them. There are a couple of scratch marks that show the orange underneath. see pictures Otherwise, mug is in good condition, no chips or cracks
