Hand-carved by an artisan in Zimbabwe, known for its fine Kisii (soapstone) deposits used in traditional Shona stone art. Length: 7 in (17.8 cm) Width: 4 in (10.2 cm) Height: 3.5 in (9 cm) Weight: 1.79 kg (3.9 lb) Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a smooth polished surface that brings out natural color variations in the stone. Left ear shows a slightly rough spot or minor chip imperfection. No cracks. The base retains visible tool marks from hand-carving. Period: Estimated late 20th century (1970s–1990s).
