gypsyla @mbulriss001 Hahaha i get that ! my cat always moves right when i take a photo 🙄. my fiancé and i are actually getting an 8 week old puppy this weekend and i'm super nervous because my cat has been my baby for the past 7 years! Wish me luck 😂

mbulriss001 @gypsyla oh my goodness!!! That's so exciting!!!! Good luck!!! The best way to get them to like each other faster is to have them each have a safe space (for my baby girl it's my bedroom) and then have them spend some time together everyday. Most importantly though, have them eat at the same time on opposite sides of a door.

I was definitely going to put my cat in my bedroom and keep them separate at first and so he (my cat) feels like he has his safe space / territory still...That's a great idea with the food thing! Thanks girl!!

mbulriss001 @gypsyla of course!! I have two other cats and a dog, and the other cats were definitely a challenge at first. The other thing that's weird but super helpful is to get clean socks or washcloths and rub them all over the cats face and leave them near the puppy so he gets used to the smell and do the same thing for the dog and leave them where your cat sleeps. That will also speed up the process.
