Hermes Joies d’Hiver vintage silk jacquard carré scarf in red.
"Skaters” jacquard (jacquard is a fabric that has a raised motif woven into it) motifs. Hermes jacquard scarves are rare and exquisite pieces; the brand stopped making them in the early 2000s because of the high production costs.
No box.
Rare, very hard to find design.
In near pristine condition - no large visible stains, holes, colour fading, colour bleeding, loose stitches or odour. The only sings of wear are a few small snags, shown in photos #6, #7, #8, #9, #10 and #11.
100% authentic. “Hermes Paris” in bottom left corner shown in photo #2; “Joies d’Hiver”, top centre, shown in photo #3; Hermes trademarked logo shown in photo #4; Joachim Metz’s’s signature shown in photo #5.
The care tag is missing.
Hand-rolled edges, facing up and stitched with thread that perfectly matches the scarf’s main colour, best shown in photo #5.
Joies d’Hiver (Joys of Winter) was created by Joachim Metz in 1992 (and re-issued once in 2002) meaning this scarf is a vintage piece. The vivid, dramatically elegant mix of fiery and jewelled tones makes it a true statement piece for any season and perfectly unisex! A must-have for any Hermes lover or collector!
