Herta Gertz BC Ceramics Console Bowl "Trillium" Mid century Art Pottery Canada

A beautiful piece of mid century art pottery in the "Trillium" pattern by Herta Gertz of BC Ceramics. The Trillium pattern was part of her Canadian Provincial Flower Series and features a Matte blue glaze and a transparent glaze on the outside. The artwork depicts a long-stemmed Trillium flower with stalks of grain or grass. This is a very striking console bowl in a somewhat free form shape measuring approximately 11 1/2 inches long, 7 3/4 inches wide at the widest point and 3 1/4 inches at the highest point. The artwork is clearly marked with the mould number (7087), the name of the pattern (Trillium" ), the name of the artist (Herta) and Canada. This piece is in beautiful pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks.
