artsie_1 @dosojosverdes Really funny story. My oldest was a sophomore in college. There were ppl in Wal Mart parking lot giving them away. She got her knowing the only pets allowed were fish. She kept her moving to different rooms and then the frat house. Dean finally told her that is was her or the dog. We got her. She is half chihuahua and Pom. Very smart. They named her Bella, then changed it to Stafford (Matt Stafford-football player) because they decided she was a boy.

artsie_1 By the time she took her to the vet, found out she was a girl, the name had stuck. We generally call her Staffy. My daughter grad from college, works as a nurse mgr at a major Atlanta hosp, got married almost 4 yr ago, & had our 1st grand & we have custody of Staffy!😜

artsie_1 @willowpuppy She is a mess! Chihuahua Pomeranian mix. My daughter got her from a Wal mart pkg lot while she was a jr. She got busted sooo many times. Puppy went from room to room and ended up in the frat house with my daughter’s boyfriend. The dean told her that it was her or the dog! That was 8yr ago & we still have & wouldn’t think of giving her back 😜

It brings a little extra $ at times. I have some friends who want custom things routinely, but it wouldn’t pay the mortgage or utilities.

norriemae thanks so much for purchasing my special lampwork bead earrings. I hope you enjoy that as much as I enjoyed making them. Just so you know, I made the beads using glass melted with a torch and wound around a steel mandrel. They were then annealed in a kiln for assured strength and durability. oh course, they're beautiful too.😃

artsie_1 @rvnk74 I was talking with a close friend today. We were discussing my oldest who has a 4yo & twins that will be 1 Friday. She has a chronic disease & spent more time in the hosp than school (from 7th grade forward). She’s now a nursing director at a major Atlanta hosp. Things do improve with time. It just wears me out being with them for a couple of hours‼️😬😳
