I'm just getting started here on Poshmark but I hope to have things you will love! I love fashion and take care of all my clothes, so everything will be in great condition! I used to own a women's consignment store, and it was so much fun! I'm really glad I found Poshmark so I can get back to what I love- Clothes! I feel so special that I'm your first posh friend!! I was the same way!! I listed a few items the first month, had no activity in my "closet" then I just got really into it and started listing a whole bunch. It's exciting when you make a sale and so fun looking through other peoples closets and buying with your earnings

Also, I have become friends with 2 AMAZING girls from this app!! They live in different states but I text and talk to them on the phone it's nuts right? My friend from CA we have EVERYTHING in common it's crazy and my friend from VA, we talk as if we know each other for years

@megz31 wow thanks that would be great! I'm 14/16 mostly, and xl/xxl depending on the brand. My shoe size is 8.5 usually but sometimes an 8. No heels though, lol, i love them but have a few pair and have no where to wear them☺

@megz31 i used to own my own consignment store. It was super fun! But i closed due to some health problems. I stay close to home now so i usually sport comfy clothes. Thats why im gonna sell my stuff, no reason to keep it anymore.

Really? A consignment shop that's awesome so you probably have clothes from there or that you're in a listing your closet till I totally hear you I'm at home and I wear my favorite target yoga pants my Walmart wife beaters and sports bras I will live and that and then when I'm at work I wear scrubs I have a whole closet full of awesome clothes and we rarely go out

@_pink_ oh ya funny story...first off he ran away from his litter when he was only about 6 weeks old and stayed on my porch all afternoon, we were about 8 blocks from his home. And a few weeks after taking him in, he started finding tiny hiding places to hang out in. One day he managed to squeeze up under the kitchen cabinets, in the box they sit in....he was there for 2 days! He still hides when he can and he's about 12 now. I'm always searching the house for him❤❤

I like to 'window shop' everyone's closet, and think that shares are more beneficial. I guess I've not been told either way, just been reading in comment sections.❤❤

Well, I have tried several approaches...but for me personally, I started out only following ppl that followed me, but as time went on, I started following massive amounts of ppl. And I have found that every time I have a boost in followers, I get a boost in sales. And I'm getting that boost in followers by "Following" others. In addition too following, everyone that follows me or shares my closet, I share their closet, which encourages them too view my closet too share.

So, I guess it depends on what your goal is... If your goal is too SELL, then I suggest Following Everyone Possible... If your goal is too shop, then following who you will buy from is the way too go... I have a gf that does that, she doesn't want her feed bogged down with what she won't buy, but for me, Tho I do purchase, I'm on disability, My main goal is too sell

Oh, and yes, some ppl do think it's rude too not follow them, tho I have never had anyone tell me that, I have read it in there comments, but again, it depends on what your goal is, bc what happens if you don't follow back, is that they may unfollow you, so if you are mainly buying, that's no big deal, but if you want too sell, then you want followers. I hope all that helps

Aww, I'm sorry your sick as well!! I seen that you used too own a shop, I know it's so difficult, too go from an active life too being home all the time. But Posh helps!! 😉 as far as following, posh does give you the "new people" option too find ppl, but they are new as well, not knowing all the ropes, so I also go thru others "followers" and follow all of them, thus, go into my followers and follow all of them etc etc that will help 😉

Nice too meet you Sarah! I'm Cyndi. I hear yea, Sounds like me. I have Fibro (which I've had for a Very long time, that didn't stop me) but then I got CFS on top of it & that's a whole dif issue. I continued working for about 2 yrs but I finally accepted it that I had too stop.

@cgncognito Oh man, i'm sorry to hear that Cindy. I have NDPH (New Daily Persistent Headache) Its a primary Headache disorder that's treatment refractory. Basically in Apr 2009 i woke with a headache that's never gone away. I managed till 2011 when i got chronic migraine disorder also. So having 2 major headaches daily just wiped me out. But we just keep on truckin right!❤❤

Oh my goodness, that's awful!! I have had migraines since a I was about 3yo and In past few hrs they will last for days, typically until I go too ER for IV treatment, so I can't imagine what you go thru. Are they less severe with time or is it as bad as the day it began? And do you know what brought it on? I just read alil bout it and it says onset can correlate with another illness

@cgncognito i had the flue for about 4 days before. Its actually worse now than it was at the beginning, but it could be because I've got more than 1 type of headache now. I'm sorry you deal with migraines also, its so tough! Mine will last days also, lays me up in bed. I'm really glad to meet you today❤ i hope we can stay in touch! Its nice to chat with someone who gets what chronic illness is all about.❤❤

And I ask bc When I got Fibro, it was out of nowhere..no illness nothing, and Fibro and CFS usually go together but I didn't get them together, I got CFS years later... The 1st yr I got my first flu shot, and not only did I get the flu Twice that yr, I developed CFS..is it related, MB not...but just found it odd

I'm so sorry to hear it's worse for you right now but yea winter is always worse. Btwn my norm pain, my fingers are hurting so bad I can barely stand it and then my sciatic nerve has started bk up. So, your headaches suddenly started, is it possible for them to suddenly stop??

@cgncognito oh man i have siatic nerve probkems too and it seems like they flare this time of year. In the first few months of this condition theres a chance od it going away but at 7 yrs im pretty much stuck with it till a breakthrough in science comes along. Ive kinda accepted that now but when i have a bunch of high pain days its hard. Glad your sales are doing ok. Hopefully mine pick back up again💗💗

@sterling5 19?! Whoa! 😮😯😦😧 (Go Joker, go Joker! LOL 😆). I hope my baby lives that long! He'll be 13 in about a month and a half and is still going strong 👍🎉). My fur angel Prince, a.k.a. Bailey's big twin (LMBO 😆), lived to be 15 (he died back in '03 😢😥😪😭).

I didnt even realize how long id had Joker till i switched vets last year she used to be indoor/outdoir but we keep her in all the time now. Im sure thats part of the age

@sterling5 The life expectancy of standard-sized Eskies is 14-16, so Prince's death was not necessarily premature. It was just a bit unexpected, at least to me, because even for his age, he seemed to be thriving (still relatively energetic, good appetite, etc.), so I'd speculated that he'd make it another year or so, to the upper end of that range (16). In his last week, he slowed down drastically but I assumed it was a combination of his age & the heat (it was August), not impending death 😥

@sterling5 As for Pandy (Joker's twin, LOL), he was found outside (in my grandparents' yard in WV) and we took him home with us (to MD). He was a feral kitten and our vet estimated that he was only about 4-5 weeks old. (We took him to the vet 3 days after we got him home.) He's been kept indoors ever since, which also probably explains why he's thriving so well at almost 13 👍🎉

One small thing i noticed, though it doesnt bother me personally, all of the clothes have a pretty strong smell of fabric softener or perfume (im not sure which) and some ppl get really uptight about that, especially if there are any 'new' items. I packaged a couple items straight out of the dryer and made a couple customers upset. So just a heads up. Ill be back to shop at your closet❤
