Drag racing is our life, we live, and breathe it.. My husband races, along with my son. It's a very scary sport, they go 130 miles an hour down a 1/4 mile strip. I have met some very famous racers, I have met all the stars from Street Outlaws, and the fastest drag racer ever, Stevie Fast Jackson. My life is my family 1st, then supporting my son and hubby racing. And me Iβm a Vet Tech, love animals! I adore my kids and would give them the shirt off my back, and it looks like you're the same way. My daughter has so many college loans and she is still not done, she's working on getting her masters degree. I'm so proud of her she's 23. I have a son as well he's going to be turning 21 tomorrow so proud of him. It's crazy with what these children today have to contend with as far as being able to make it these days.

My family moved here a few years after me but I still have uncles aunts and cousins over there and my husbands family became snow birds a few years back and stay for most of the year with my sister-in-law in Ft. Myers so for him its just uncles aunts and cousins as well. Although I do agree about the shopping, I do miss it and real Broadway shows!

@webyty a lot my family is in Buffalo, and I I went there in the most coldest time ever, and Iβm like, OK THIS IS NOT FOR ME! I love the sun and beaches! But this damn rain π§ is ridiculous!!! Iβm so sick of it, cuz we canβt go out in the boat, and plus this bad red tide is killing me!!! We live by the river, and you can smell from there! I live right off the interstate75, Iβve been sick from it, lost my voice , and having major headaches! I canβt wait to get back in the boat and in the water!

OMG I'm so sorry to hear that you've been sick. I had heard about the toxic waters but wasn't really certain what area it was. We live on the beach side and I've noticed that there haven't been many people on the beach this summer. We go to get sun but really haven't been swimming much because the waters been so yucky but not nearly as bad as the way you're describing your coast.

I totally agree about the rain, actually its raining on my coast right now. My pour dog keeps getting woken up in the middle of the night from the thunder storms that occur nearly every night. It definitely needs to stop. In fact when we went to Disney for the fourth of July there weren't any fireworks that night because of the heavy rains.

Last year I tried going on catamaran in key west with my family for a snorkeling trip and was so sick I spent the entire time laying on my stomach and throwing up . That was the worse 5 hrs ever. Even after we got off a was dizzy for 2 days. What an awful feeling. Just a suggestion but raw apple cider vinegar is an antibacterial it might help with the soreness of your throat.

Not a problem whenever I get a sore throat I take a 1oz shot of it and it works miracles. Just be careful if you havenβt had any before because it does burn a little going down. Have a glass of water handy just in case.
