I'm Susana and I am an enthusiastic shopper. I love clothes and shoes and all kinds of accessories. I’m going to move in 2020 and I DON’T WANT TO MOVE ALL THESE CLOTHES! I'm an artist... painting, sculpture, photography... and enjoy making jewelry and bags. I design scarves and other illustrated clothing items. tudyspice @susana_w it's so easy to get caught up shopping here. I've spent a nice part of my earnings in other's closets 😅 And you'll get the hang of listing. Posh makes it really easy. It's taking the photos that's most time consuming for me. I prefer natural daylight (which we get a limited amount of this time of year).

susana_w @sluvscats OK! There’s a lot of questions in those last few messages! LOL! Let’s take one at a time. The little funnel thing is a FILTER. When you’re looking at someone else’s closet, you can look at all of a particular brand... or a size... or a price... or low price to high. Use it when you go to look at items at a party. If you don’t want to look at everything, use a filter. I’ve never applied it to my own closet. Understand?

susana_w @sluvscats OK... now the restriction of 500 characters in the messages... When you click on “comment” you get a white box to type in. If you fill that up, it’s about 500 characters. Stop there and post it and then continue on. You got that one?

susana_w @sluvscats Double Arrows... Looks like another way to sort items. I haven’t used it much. In your own closet, Click on it and pick “Just shared”. Those items come to the front of your closet. Click again and remove the sort and your closet organization goes back to the way it was.

susana_w @sluvscats Closet organization: Think about what you want at the top. Change it ever day or so. Here’s how to get it in order. Pick the first category which will be at the end. Share each item in that category to your followers. Then refresh the view. All those things you shared will be at the top. Do it again with another category. Refresh. That category will be at the top. Share all your items in the order you want them.

susana_w @sluvscats If you’ve forgotten an item, share it and then all the other items in that category. Now they will all be together at the top. Do this for all items and end with the category you want at the top. Next day, put a different category on top. Got it? Questions?

sluvscats I’ve been busy redoing some pics, I got a mannequin & she’s standing in middle of LR/DR for the moment. I could’ve, probably should’ve gone w just a body dress form, but I have Hannah, haha. I don’t show her face, I want focus on the clothing from neckline down. sluvscats Haha, I wish I were a smaller size too. Many of these clothes don’t fit or are not age appropriate or I’ve no need for them since my social life is absent these days. I’ll be glad to get rid of them now that I’m ready to let them go. And I have LOTS more......I barely have a vertical or horizontal surface w/o clothes on it now that I’ve been digging them out

sluvscats Thanks for the compliment re my closet, I did waste a lot of money, didn’t i? Makes me so mad w myself now. I know I’m not a hoarder (Kind of not) because I hate all these around me. I live in a 900 sq ft apt. The 2nd bedroom has been ONE of my closets, but I have loads I’d squirreled away in vac bags & out in trunks or other containers. What happens once you break that vac seal, all the clothing triples in size .......Lol

sluvscats I have to laugh about it to keep the tears away. I bought a commercial garment rack that doesnt fall into pieces every time I breathe on it. I’m contemplating getting another but of course price has gone up. Then I have my girlfriend Hannah, my mannequin, standing in middle of living room/dining room area. She still scares the heck out of me on occasion. I pray the owner of the apt/condo doesn’t come by for a visit 😳

sluvscats He’d voiced some concerns in past years Re my growing accumulation of clothing. Since my fall down the back steps in pouring rain last summer, he’s been more careful with me. Afraid I might sue the Association. I probably hadn’t shared this w you, but I ended up at the bottom of the flight w my left leg pointing directly right from the hip down, immovable.

sluvscats Of course I knew I’d broken my hip, I never imagined it happening until 80s/90s F I was a mess. Have a 15” screw down thru the femur w nails at hip & knee holding me together. This happened a year ago, but it sucked 10 yrs off my life. I’m just getting some of my energy & desire to participate in life back. So now that I’m not working, haha, this Posh thing is pretty much my job & my social life. Honestly, I wish one person would come & take it all away for $10/item no matter its worth.

susana_w @sluvscats yes, you can have more than one account. Yes, you can organize them with different categories. I know of several. Bad news is you have to start all over again getting followers for the new closet. If it helps you keep it all straight then it’s worth it! I cringed when I read about your accident. What a traumatic thing to happen to you! I hope you recover further! A year on an injury like that.is only the beginning.

susana_w @sluvscats Hi Sandy, just got back last night from the UK. Awesome trip and woke up at 5 this morning (about my regular time) so I’m up trying to “reset” my body clock from a trip. Going east to west is easier so I’m hoping I’ll be able to get back on track and waking up at the right time is a good sign. I didn’t have a very good internet situation there... not a great signal... so I kept getting bumped off. Got to catch up with my Poshing and come back to chat later.

Latest one made a one item bundle and I refused it about 15%... maybe closer to 20%. Then she counters with like 70% off... What? So I messaged her “Sorry but your offer is 70% off the listing. My offer was a reduction of 20%. I can’t go more than 25%.... and then I countered with 25%. And she accepted.

susana_w @sluvscats I don’t use the ‘offers to likers’ unless I want to offer it to ALL likers... BUT.... when someone ‘likes’ an item I put it in a bundle to them and make the offer and include a personal note. Why... I want to offer my best price to someone who has showed interest as quickly as possible. That’s when their interest is the highest. As for the other likers, they’ve seen the item several times, maybe with a couple offers to likers... and still no response. Their interest has cooled.

I’ve even put in the note... “This offer is 20% off the listing, Poshmark’s fee is $4.80 and I make $12.20... or whatever it is. Sometimes I just say what the discount is as a percentage. I just want them to know I know exactly what I’m offering. Does that make sense? I’ve had a couple people thank me and say ‘I didn’t think of it that way.’ .....I think: ‘Yeah, I know!!” Hahaha!

It’s a free word game... you can play against the bots by yourself or against friends or against other people they will match you up with if you can’t find an opponent. I play with my nephew off and on and a sister... she gives up too easily. 25 letters in a square. I make a word, they’re my letters... you make a word and use some of my letters. Now they’re your letters. I make a word and get some back. The game keeps track of the words and the score.

Her bracelet beads & baubles are unusual but look easier to make than yours. The bracelets you make look like they’re very intricate & complicated. susana_w @sluvscats I checked out Mona’s work... very nicely done. The s at the end was the problem.Her work is very simple but she’s very consistent, well photographed using models, variety of pricing... some expensive units, some underpriced. $15 for a pair of earrings. By the time PM takes their 20%, she’s barely paid for the materials. I have to design some earrings to blend with my stuff. I’m just so NOT matchy-matchy... I just resist the whole concept of matching. I should stop that!

susana_w @sluvscats I have not heard any of my friends with cats say their cats have lived so long. Wow... you are doing something right. I just hate losing a pet... in our case it’s been dogs. My heart is always in pain when they are sick or hurt somewhere and can’t tell you. My intuition goes into overdrive and i feel like they are talking to me. It’s the weirdest sensation. I don’t know whether to believe or not. LOL!!

sluvscats Hi, I miss hearing from you. I’ve done NOTHING. w Posh Closet. I found out when I had CT to check aneurysm etc, that I still have pneumonia. Not just any pneumonia, but a mycobacteria pneumonia or NTM, Non-TB Mycobacterium. Had I not had CT I would’ve kept struggling along wondering why the H I have no stamina & feel like crap. Whatever area of my lungs that’s already infected is damaged. Whatever the sputum cultures grow

sluvscats that will determine which specific antibiotics will be prescribed. It’s not treatable w a short course of broad spectrum antibiotics, but w long term treatment w multiple (usually 3) diff antibiotics. For months. I’m so disgusted, how the H I got this I haven’t a clue. It’s considered a rare disease, most people exposed to it do not get sick. Their immune systems fight it, but not mine. It’s hard for me to write about cuz then I’m not thinking good thoughts & get more anxious

susana_w @vld123 Hello, Mr. Vince! I had a good morning and a busy day from beginning to end and I’m just getting to my Poshing and it’s 9 o’clock! Last month I made a poster for an auto show event and agreed to sign and number 100 prints as “trophies” for the event. The printed posters showed up today and they were all rolled tight in tubes. I had to get them out of the tubes, unroll and sign and number them and put them back in the tubes without creasing them.

(Before that I was a creative director in Minneapolis at a large advertising agency.) Black Wings brought us together to collaborate with some wonderful models who have become friends.

susana_w @vld123 I wanted to put the paintings, prints and photography together in a separate Poshmark account. It’s just too chaotic with the clothes and shoes!! I moved the prints over to the new “closet”. I’m so sorry for the confusion I’ve created. The reason David’s name is on it is because I have to do it on his phone and computer. I haven’t put any of our work together yet but we did a small book last year and I’ll put that on tonight. Like the new paintings you’ve been listing! 🙂

susana_w @vld123 Good morning Vince. I can relate totally!! I have been suffering with the worst bout of sciatica I’ve ever experienced. A week of being bent at the waist to walk and unable to do anything! Finally called my doctor and he has me on a course of prednisone and gabapentin. I’m doing better and I feel I can drive today... I’m at about 70%! Not looking forward to an 18 hour car ride to Atlanta for Christmas with the kids!

susana_w @vld123 Holy Mother of God, Vince! Your story sound like the plot of a horror movie! I’m gonna ask my brother to explain that surgery to me. He’s a neurologist in FL. I’m going to have an MRI done just to see what is going on now in my spine. It’s been 9 years since I had an infected disc... turned into septicemia... almost died... had great care of a infectious disease Dr. and recovered with a pic line dosing directly into my heart for 8 weeks.

susana_w @vld123 The pain mgt. Dr. I had then saw my scans and said “You’ll be back to see me.” Spinal stenosis and some other crazy thing were the discs aren’t lined up just right. So, now I’ll go see him again. He is not in favor of surgeries... told me that 9 years ago. Thank you for your advice and for sharing your story. Feel better, my friend! 😘

Yes, I’m finally back... 3 weeks of schleping luggage in and out of hotels, and various guest rooms... in and out of the trunk of our car... with our dog along for good measure. I’m thinking this is the last of these kinds of trips. Came home with the most miserable cold I’ve ever had... if not the flu. I’ve never had a cold put me down like this last one. Taking care of myself right now and trying to get back to Poshmark. Lots to catch up with!
