Hi All, I'm Mimi📍🍎🗽NYC metro area born & raised. I have an eclectic closet and am always on the hunt to add special statement pieces. I love vintage,silks,vintage rocker T's, vintage jewlery, purses, belts, blazers as well as handmade custom pieces, vintage 60s to current. Emphasis on 80s &90s. I grew up on the fashion runway of NYC.🗽 I've been thrifting & sourcing items ♻️ for personal styling over 25+ yrs in NYC. It brings me happiness to see there is a strong movement of people that support "Buy Secondhand First." I've learned that style can not be bought. It's personal. It's innate! That said, I encourage harnessing your own inner style! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! For me, it's all about style. Because in my opinion, fashion would be a bore without it. However, I saw the documentary about how luxotica brand glasses are made in bulk and not great for buyers so I switched over to Warby Parker because they give a pair of glasses to someone in need with every purchase:(

liledeglace my optometrist Johnny wanted me to try the in-house lamb brand but the helper was great at closing early and not accepting or fixing or donating used lenses unless it was from their store:( they also were not sure if the lamb brand was inspired by Mariah Carey or Gwen stefani but I decided against one of their lenses because it was named cry and my father

liledeglace thankfully found my Warby Parker’s but still owe me a few others by Gotham/modern eye in blue and candies and a juicy couture one on the smaller side that broke:( I’m not sure I’ll ever get my glasses back but I hope you’re happy with whichever company you opted to purchase yours at where your insurance was accepted🤞😇☘️

genawenda Hey, Mimi! Looking good, as always! I have come to the realization that I cannot purchase that killer suede dress with fringe! It is just too hot in New Orleans. I had a suede dress and never wore it for that reason. I do think you should still find the right slip and sell them together, so the buyer has an outfit ready to go in a cool, dry climate!
