HighBrarian Custom Vintage Modified Corduroy Jacket Sport Coat Visible Mending

This project started out with sourcing a good condition vintage mens corduroy jacket in approximately size large. Custom navy blue elbow patches were hand sewn with embroidery thread in a variety of fun and funky colors. A rough green canvas covering was added to the one front pocket. Matching accent stitches were sewn on the breast pocket as well. This jacket is made entirely of upcycled materials and all modifications were performed my hand. Going for a quick coffee? Throw this over an old band shirt to dress up! Be the fun librarian with this funky yet comfortable classic. The look of the modifications is purposely rough and frayed. Hand sewn errors, crooked angles etc are to be expected. Also original garment was vintage and used it may have flaws marks etc. -Little Gray Kitty 😺 ❤
