This is a very highly sought after Royal Canadian Mounted Police Cap Badge or Kings Crown. It is made of high quality guided metal finished with a bright glossy high temp epoxy type enamel paint. Both lugs in place to the reverse side of the badge. This is an authentic full sized badge and not a miniature or lapel pin like most available for sale elsewhere. This is one of the more modern version used since 1994 onward. The vintage versions were brass with no enamel or colour. A great addition to anyone’s military or police collection… Measurements: Approximate Height: 52mm Approximate Width: 52mm Open to REASONABLE Offers! RCMP Cap pictured is not included and is only shown as a reference!!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 LEGAL DISCLAIMER *** This badge is strictly sold for collector purposes only and should only be used as such. It does not have or give the person in possession any police or law enforcement authority. mlhellfish FYI... For accuracy, the crown is the Queens crown, not the Kings crown as posted.

dan_ylo @mlhellfish actually the "RCMP King's Crown" refers to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) cap badge and other insignia featuring the King's Crown, which has been used by the RCMP throughout its history, particularly during the reigns of Kings. The current King's Crown used by the RCMP is that of King Charles III. The crown is a key symbol of the RCMP's connection to the Canadian monarchy and its role as a symbol of the Crown's peace…

dan_ylo @mlhellfish the current crown was chosen by Queen Elizabeth II and is St. Edward’s crown used for her cypher. Since her Passing King Charles III might choose another design for his cypher; but although the current one you speak of is in fact St. Edward’s crown, it is still referred to as the Kings Crown.

mlhellfish if you review the current King Charles Coronation medal and associated documentation. It features a different crown (commonly referred to as the Kings crown or Tudor crown) which was on previous RCMP and military brass. LOL wasn't trying to pick a fight just providing info.
