Hinged antique pill box/ trinket box

Very vintage looking and beautiful. Belonged to a family member. There is some brownish markings on the lid around the edges. Not sure if it is glue or rust. This is a very old piece so it will show signs of wear. Nevertheless it is still beautiful. You can use as a mini jewelry or trinket box. Feels like it could be porcelain.
