Vintage AND retro head-turner “where did you get it” designer tote/shoulder bag. Purchased from indie designer Rebecca Pearcy (Queen Bee Creations, Portland) in the late 90s. This was the bag I walked out the door with when I was looking for conversation with friends and strangers alike.
Two sewn-in 12” albums on bag side panels. Material and construction is transparent, red, and light blue thick vinyl with stitching, silver grommeting and top snap closure.
Pearcy custom-built these bags according to customer preference. I selected the red and light blue vinyl colour combination, and asked her to select her own preferred album labels based on this colourway — hence the resulting Anita Kerr and Eric Delaney vinyls. A thrilling combo!
Roomy, lightweight, waterproof/wipeable and very durable.

CONDITION:
> Good pre-loved condition. I took very good care of this bag, as it was my ultimate favourite. Shows some reasonable signs of pre-loved wear—see photos for a couple of small scuff marks on bag’s side, some wear on handles and bottom, and some very slight natural discoloration of clear vinyl—nothing significant enough that would prevent me from showing it off… other than now being 25 years too old to do so! This bag is so dramatic that any of the minor vinyl wear doesn’t register.
