The cute hippo looks exactly like a hippo in glass form, it even has a little tail on the back! This was a part of the Libbey Big Top Line which featured these multipurpose cannisters in circus animal shapes. This smoky glass cookie jar was made by Libbey Glass in the 1970's. Made in the USA. 7" wide, 5 1/4" opening, 12 1/2" tall with the lid. Holds 1.5 gallons. Excellent condition- no major issues to note, some light scratches from use over the years.
