Historical men’s alpaca, mohair wool blend Coat

This immaculate men’s coat is made from a blend of alpaca , mohair and wool. It was sold in a NovaScotia tailor shop right here in my hometown of new Glasgow in the 1960s by J. Fisher Grant. Measurements 26” pit to pit, sleeve from pit to hem 16” total length from nape to bottom hem 45” Designed with quality and longevity in mind it is in Pristine condition (possibly never worn) J. Fisher Grant was a tailor who operated a clothing business in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, beginning in 1882. The business specialized in men's and boy's clothing, hats, caps, and furnishings and expanded to the point where a new, modern two-story brick building was erected to accommodate its growth. Quality was second to none. $300 is a steal for this piece. (Start the horse and buggy)
